Successful completion prepares and qualifies you to sit for the NJ DHSS state exam to become a Certified Assisted Living Administrator or an Adult Day Care Administrator.
This Course provides:
Skills and information that will give you the edge in successfully managing an assisted living community and related senior facilities. Practical tools and techniques to help you pass the NJ DHSS test.
Plus:
Meets state requirements to be an Adult Day Health Services Program Administrator.

Course Syllabus:
- Day One: Aging Process, Assessment and Care Plan, Nurse Delegation, Medication Management, Respite, Restraints, Quality Assurance Program
- Day Two: Assisted Living Values, Residents Rights, Required/Enhanced Services, Alzheimer’s Program Regulations, Budget/Financial Management
- Day Three: Environment of Care, Policy & Procedure/Documentation, Regulatory Compliance Issues, Managed Risk
- Day Four: Human Resource Management, Enforcement Regulations, Course Review, Final Test
Practicums:
- Operations Practicum—8 hours (On February 2nd)
- Clinical Practicum—8 hours (On February 3rd)
