Throughout the United States, Laurie has provided this Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar. Laurie or one of the skilled Longtree & Associates team members will come to your community (virtual options available as well) to provide this training and other important information on  policy and procedure development, memory care community life programs and staff training upon request.

This seven-hour course will give your professionals the edge in successfully providing dementia care for elderly in both the institutional setting as well as long term care.

What you need to know:

  • Approved by the NCCDP, National Administrator Board and California Board of Nursing, this 7-hour course, taught by expert wellness educators, provides your employees with the outstanding skill development and educational knowledge to readily prepare them to provide care for adults with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia.
  • Completing this course provides your professional staff with seven continuing education units for registered nurse, activity professional and assisted living administrator and meets the requirement for applying to be credentialing as a Certified Dementia Practitioner by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.
